The Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Bahan Township and The Secretariat in Botahtaung Township are undergoing preparations to open for public on the 76th Martyrs’ Day which falls on 19 July, 2023.
Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein and officials inspected the preparation works on the morning of 14 June.
The chief minister and party viewed the display of Bogyoke Aung San’s car, his childhood memories till the nation’s leader, and his family life in the downstairs, Bogyoke’s bedroom, his family photos, clothes he wore in successive era, library, his children’s bedroom and other displays at the Bogyoke Aung San Museum in Bahan Township.
Afterward, they looked round the displays in The Secretariat, room where parliament held, place where the name plaque of Bogyoke and other fallen heroes displayed and the meeting room where 9 martyrs assassinated and gallery with memorial things of martyrs.
