Myanmar para athletes who won a total of 56 medals including 15 gold, 22 silver and 19 bronze medals in the 12th ASEAN Para Games hosted by Cambodia from 3 to 9 June arrived in Myanmar by Myanmar National Airlines’ private flight in the evening of June 10.Â
Chairman of Myanmar Paralympics Sports Federation Maj-Gen Hla Moe, vice-chairs, coaches, 44 administrators and 82 para athletes, totaling 126 arrived at the Yangon International Airport.
Myanmar para athletes won 12 gold, 13 silver and 10 bronze medals in javelin event, three gold, six silver and four bronze medals in swimming event, two bronze medals in chess, three silver and two bronze medals in weightlifting event, and one bronze medal in goalball (blind) event, totaling 56 medals.
