An explosion occurred at the Internal Revenue Department Office on Pansodan Road (lower block) in Kyauktada Township , Yangon Region in the afternoon of 5 June.
It is reported that six people including staff and civilians wounded in the explosion.
An explosion reportedly occurred at the third floor of Internal Revenue Department Office (3) on Pansodan Road in 4 Ward of Kyauktada Township. Reports indicate that security personnel blocked off roads and conducted inspections in the area after the incident.
In the incident, six people including Ma Phyo Phyo Aung (deputy head of section), Ma Myat Hmue Khin, Daw Khin Latt, Ma Iszani of the Internal Revenue Department and two civilians who were at the department office were injured.
The injured people were transported to Yangon hospital for medical treatment and anyone were not in serious condition.
