1,854 applications of Myanmar food processing companies and factories that submitted to the General Administration of Customs- GACC of China received licence permission with the approval of the competent authority, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
1,155 companies submitted 2,194 applications to GACC of China from 1 December 2021 to 26 May 2023.
Regarding the registration of the importing companies, the Department of Animal and Plant Quarantine under the GACC will check access for seven groups of imported goods.
The seven groups of goods included raw coffee beans and cocoa beans, vegetables, spices, edible grains, assorted pulses, oil crops, and herbal animal products and plant for their origins.
