The camp opening ceremony of 2023 Bagan outstanding students was held at the camp in Naung Oo Township of Mandalay Region on 29 April.
On behalf of the chief minister of Mandalay Region Government, Minister for Security and Border Affairs Col Kyaw Kyaw Min was welcomed by officials, teachers and students. Students from Grade-9 formally opened the ceremony.
Afterward, Col Kyaw Kyaw Min extended greetings to outstanding students from Grade-9 and presented them badges. On behalf of outstanding students, an outstanding student spoke words of thank.
Afterward, Col Kyaw Kyaw Min, officials and outstanding students posed a documentary photo taken and planted a sapling.
Then, the outstanding students visited prominent pagodas in Bagan. Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung presented commemorative gifts to the outstanding students at the dinner.
