Myanmar evacuated a national from conflict-torn Sudan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Ma Lae Mae Mee who works in Dubai, UAE arrived in Khartoum, Sudan together with her host on holiday trip and trapped in Port Sudan, Myanmar Embassy stated on 26 April.
Myanmar Embassy negotiated for permission to come with rescue vessel of Saudi Arabia after it contacted to the Foreign Ministry of Saudi Arabia and Emergency Crisis Management Team organized by Saudi Arabia to rescue Ma Lae Mae Mee.
The, Ma Lae Mae Mee arrived at Jeddah of Saudi Arabia from Port Sudan in the evening. The Myanmar Embassy arranged to proceed to Dubai where she works.
The Myanmar Embassy in Riyadh has given aids to Myanmar citizens who face difficulties in the Middle East countries, the statement stated.
