Oil tankers imported from Singapore have docked at the jetties of oil storage tanks in Thilawa Port this morning.
Officials from the Ministry of Energy, Myanmar Fuel Oil Importers and Distributors Association and Myanmar Port Authority inspected the oil tankers.
According to the data of Myanmar Fuel Oil Importers and Distributors Association, the country has 4337405 gallons of 92 RON, 10480514 gallons of 95 RON, 1727403 gallons of 97 RON, 30932299 gallons of diesel and 2978945 gallons of premium diesel that are today’s measures of oil tanks.
13 vessels carrying 218014 tonnes or 60837308 gallons of fuel oil will arrived in Myanmar within 15 days of April. Firstly, three oil tankers carrying 16000 tonnes or 4793920 gallons of fuel oil will arrive in five days.
The fuel oil stock stored at the terminals in Thilawa Port has over 41 million gallons of 92 RON, over 10 million gallons of 95 RON, over 1.7 million gallons of 97 RON, over 19 million gallons of diesel and over 18 million gallons of premium diesel on 4 April.
Officials from respective states and regions inspected whether the oil tankers departed from terminals in Thilawa really arrived at the fuel oil shops or not, whether the shops sold at reference prices or not. Fuel oil is sufficient for factories and other sectors.
Fuel oil unloading process was undertaken from 32 oil vessels in March. More oil tankers will arrive in April.
