Domestic fuel oil prices were declined by Ks-140 per litre for petrol and Ks-115 per litre for diesel today, according to the prices released by Fuel Oil Import, Storage and Distribution Supervisory Committee.
On 16 March, the fuel oil prices stood at Ks-2150 per litre for 92 Ron, Ks-2235 per litre for 95 Ron, Ks-2135 per litre for diesel and Ks-2215 per litre for premium diesel.
Today, the prices of fuel oil fell down to Ks-2010 per litre for 92 Ron, Ks-2095 per litre for 95 Ron, Ks-2020 per litre for diesel and Ks-2100 per litre for premium diesel.
Those who sell the local fuel oil will be taken action under the Essential Commodities Act if they commit manipulating the fuel oil prices, storage of fuel oil and selling with overpriced, the committee announced.
