The agriculture sector makes up 23.7 percent of the gross domestic product and products of the agriculture and livestock breeding sector are important export items, the Vice Chairman of State Administration Council Vice-Senior General Soe Win said.
He made this comment at the meeting (1/2023) of the Peasant’s Rights Protection and Interests Promotion Leading Committee held in Nay Pyi Taw on 14 March.
First, the Vice-Senior General delivered a speech, saying that the purpose of the meeting is to implement the objectives of the Law for Protection of Peasants’ Rights and Promotion of Peasants’ Interests and provisions of its rules.
