Myanmar earned more than US$-10.31 billion from the trade with ASEAN countries within nine months period from April to December of 2022-2023 financial year, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
Over US$-3.53 billion was earned from the export while more than US$-6.77 billion from the import. The value of imports is greater than that of imports, according to the data.
Myanmar’s major tradin0067 partners are Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia, the Phillippines, Laos, Brunei and Vietnam. Thailand is Myanmar’s largest trading partner.
The main export items are agriculture, marine products and mineral products.
