Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Mr. Alexey Evgenievich Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM State Corporations of the Russian Federation, who is in Myanmar, discussed technology cooperation in peaceful use of nuclear technology for energy,according to the news released by Information Team of SAC.
Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received a Russian delegation led by Mr. Alexey Evgenievich Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM State Corporations of the Russian Federation, at Zeyathiri Beikman in Yangon this morning.
At the meeting, they cordially discussed matters on using nuclear energy profitably in generating power and health and agriculture sectors and cooperation in peaceful use of nuclear technology for energy.
Present at the meeting together with the Senior General were Joint-Secretary of SAC Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han and officials and with the Director General ROSATOM State Corporations Ambassador of Russian Federation to Myanmar H.E. Mr. Nikolay LISTOPADOV and officials.
