Although the global gold price slightly declined, the domestic gold price is still high and reached Ks-2,870,000 per tical today.
The foreign exchange rate also remained unchanged between Ks-2,550 and Ks-2560 per dollar.
On February 3, the domestic gold price stood at Ks-2,870,000 per tical in external market, an increase of Ks-20,000 per tical within five days compared to 30 January. The foreign exchange rate is stable at Ks-2,860 per dollar in the same day.
Despite the global gold price was US$-1,923 per ounce on 30 January, it declined to US$-1,914 per ounce today.
In external market, domestic gold price and foreign exchange rate was Ks-2,848,000 and Ks-2,855 per dollar on 30 January, Ks-2,850,000 and Ks-2,855 on 31 January, Ks-2,860,000 and Ks-2,855 on 1 February, Ks-2,890,000 and Ks-2,860 on 2 February.
