U Ye Tun, a political analyst and a representative of First Pyithu Hluttaw, “I think there will be next two extensions for a term of six months for each extension. According to the Constitution, it is the definition of the word ‘normally’ of Provision 425. Normally, it can extend two times for a term of six months for each extension. However, it’s not in normal situation so the National Defence and Security Council needs to make decision for the extension of SAC in line with Provision 425 of the Constitution. In the Council, except the Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services, others including Vice-President and Speaker of the Hluttaw shall remain in their office until only to the next elected government. Therefore, I think they incline to extend the SAC for the longer period of their term.” said to MT News.

So , by advising the SAC the ways to get the normal situation this time, I think , extension of next six months should be permitted”
Duwa Lashila , acting President of NUG said NUG forces killed 25000 security forces from 2021 February to ahead of 2022 year-end but SAC also responded by saying 4543 out of the killings NUG and PDF are Buddhist monks, nuns, staff of General Department and ward administrators, public servants, teachers, and even children.
