The Genius SHN Second Solo Show of Swan Htet Naing, a youngest modern artist in Myanmar, will be organized for seven days, he said at the press show held at the art gallery in Yangon on 16 January.
The art show will be organized at the Anawrahta Art Gallery between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm from 17 to 23 January and displayed 74 paintings which are his works from 11 years to 14 years of age.
Artist SHN said: “I become a painting artist because of my parents and audiences’ encouragement. I consider painting pictures as my daily routine and freely paint the pictures. I will continue to do painting rest of my life and strive to promote art standard of Myanmar.”
U Myo Thaw, chairman of Anawrahta Art Gallery Committee, explained the aim of Artist SHN Second Solo Show at the press show. National Literary Award winner Myanmar Sar Goandoo U Thein Naing, writer Chit Oo Nyo, . National Literary Awards winner Saya Hein Latt, multitalented artist Ko Aung Kyaw Tun (Linkadipa orchestra) spoke words of praise.
Swan Htet Naing is a 14-year-old grade 9 student and studied painting at New York Museum known as the Museum of Modern Art. His first show was held at the Lawkanat art gallery in the first week of October in 2022.
