Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Ambassador H.E. H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun of Foreign Affairs Ministry of China discussed China’s steadfast stance on supporting Myanmar in international affairs and other issues.
Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received Ambassador H.E. H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun of Foreign Affairs Ministry of China at SAC Office in Nay Pyi Taw this afternoon.
At the meeting, cordial discussions were centred on developments in Myanmar, ongoing State’s peace talks with EAOs for national peace and stability, China’s assistance in the peace process, China’s steadfast stance on supporting Myanmar in international affairs, China’s continuous humanitarian assistance, China’s investments for Myanmar’s development and promotion of bilateral friendship and cooperation.
Ambassador H.E. H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun of Foreign Affairs Ministry of China served as a Chinese Ambassador to ASEAN and a successor of Mr. Sun Guoxiang, Special Envoy of Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.
Chinese Ambassador H.E. H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun met with ethnic armed organizations at China-Myanmar border before he came to Nay Pyi Taw. At present, he has hold peace talks with five NCA-signatory ethnic armed organizations in Nay Pyi Taw.
