The significant ancient pagodas and stupas in MraukU, Rakhine State was teeming with pilgrims who came from four corners within holidays starting from the morning of 22 December.
The pilgrims observed the stone carvings in Shittaung Temple and Htukkanthein Temple which are ancient pagodas and stupas, paid obeisance to Koethaung Temple, Yadana Man Aung, Zeenat Man Aung, Sakkya Man Aung, Mingalar Man Aung and Law Ka Man Aung which are five revered Man payas by hired cars and offered flower, water and light to the pagodas.
Moreover, the pilgrims visited to Letsal Lake, Payapaw pagoda, Nantawya hill and archaeological museum. The pagodas and places in MraukU were alive with visitors who posed for photos and bought souvenirs.
