17 people were injured in a blast on a Cherry ferry running Yangon’s Pansodan to Dala on 18 December, according to charity organizations.
The blast hit a passenger ferry docked at the Pansodan port around 6.30 on 18 December.
An official from a charity organization said: “The blast occurred at the side of Pansodan and on Cherry ferry crossing the Yangon river to Dala. A total of 17 people were injured.”
Among the casualties, five are in a critical condition and the charity groups transported all injured people to Yangon People’s Hospital.
