Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing addresses at the Diamond jubilee ceremony of Myanmar Air Force that SU-30 SME multirole fighter, FTC-2000g advanced jet combat, Ka-28 anti-submarine helix and K-8W jet trainer were commissioned at the 75th anniversary day of MAF so Myanmar Tatmadaw can launch operations of four dimensions.
After emerging about 600 armed groups in Myanmar and MAF commissioned many new aircraft on its anniversary day although there are objections against the air strikes of MAF and activities to cut the airplane oil.
SU-30 SME is a heavy multirole fighter of of fourth generation which is firstly used in MAF.
FTC-2000G is a type of advanced light combat and can be used for air to air operations, air to ground strikes, close air attacks, interceptor attacking and scouting with weapons.
Ka-28 anti-submarine helix is capable of sea tracking, destroying submerged submarines to a depth of 500 meter and rescue duties.
FT-7 interceptor and K-8 w planes are jet fighter trainer and light fighter trainer respectively and capable of air to air attacks, air to ground strikes, close air attacks, interceptor attacking and tracking enemies. Y-8. one of the commissioned planes is a type of transport aircraft and also used for transporting VIP, cargos, passengers, sea tracking and rescue duties. Therefore, it is a new blood for MAF.
Moreover, Senior General min Aung Hlaing said that MAF could built MTX-1A light trainer and SR-1 UAV in local by making technological researches. He also concluded MAF could strategic warfare and anti-submarines operations with new commissioned aircraft so Myanmar Tatmadaw can launch operations of four dimensions, air, land, sea surface and under sea surface.
