The Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) has donated funds for earthquake-hit areas, including the Mahamuni Pagoda, which was damaged by the Mandalay earthquake.
The chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) visited Mandalay and Sagaing, which were hit by the Mandalay earthquake, on April 21 and donated 100 million kyats for the comprehensive renovation of the Mahamuni Pagoda, 1.2 million kyats to the Brahmasor Charitable Association, and 50 million kyats to the Kokang Buddhist Monastery.
In addition, the Chairman of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central) visited the religious buildings, pagodas, and the Sitagu Missionary Building in Sagaing Mountain that were damaged by the earthquake and donated 38.4 million kyats to the Sitagu Sayadaw for comprehensive repairs.
