Action on the tip off, a combined team searched Toyota Hiace vehicle driven by Pan Sein accompanied with Ma Sabal Phyu, leading toward Thazi Township from Taunggyi, near Kyaetaksone Village at 10:30 pm December 9 and seized nearly 1 million of stimulant tablets worth of 1.4 billion Kyats from this vehicle. According to the interrogation, the seized drugs were being carried to Yangon Division from Shan State and the offenders were taken into action under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law. The follow-up processes are being carried out to trace the drug linkages of the case.
