In exporting the goods from Myanmar to China via Lwejel-Layin border trade, China lifted shuntain system and re-allowed the permission of direct export on 11 December, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
The exporters from Myanmar can reduce the shuntain costs due to the relaxations and policy changes on COVID-19 in China, an official of Lwegel border gate of the ministry.
The move came after the officials conducted checking of COVID-19 at Lwegek-Laring border trade route in October.

The relaxations came due to the policy changes on COVID-19 in China.”
“Previously, after organizing the township-level COVID-19 prevention committee, the health workers of the Ministry of Health conducted swab test for COVID-19 at Moemauk camp. The officials checked customs and made shuntain process. Now, they do not need to do anymore,” the official said.
