The three northern armed groups that promised a unilateral one-month ceasefire due to the earthquake have broken their promise and are attacking the Nyaung-Kyo camp this morning

The Chinese Kokang armed group MNDAA, the Ta’ang armed group TNLA and the Rakhine armed group AA announced yesterday that they would unilaterally cease fire for the entire month of April due to the earthquake that struck on March 28. However, as is the tradition of terrorist groups’ disloyalty and non-fulfillment of promises, the Rakhine armed group AA is attacking the Tatmadaw’s Nyaung-Kyo camp this morning.

Of the three northern armed groups, the MNDAA, at China’s request, issued a public declaration to China that it would cease fire in Lashio, but it did not keep its promise and invaded and occupied Lashio, which resulted in the death and capture of hundreds of Tatmadaw soldiers and medical personnel in Lashio.
