The Chairman of the State Executive Council and Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing today announced that the National Flag will be flown at half-mast for seven days starting today to commemorate the loss of life and damage caused by the earthquake.
On March 28, 2025, at 12:51:02 Myanmar Standard Time, a very strong earthquake measuring 7.7 on the Richter scale struck. National flag to be flown at half-mast for seven days starting today to commemorate the loss of life and damage caused by the earthquake.
The statement also states that the national flag should be flown at half-mast during those days.
