Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, along with council members, inspected the earthquake damage at the parliament buildings in Nay Pyi Taw Union Territory this morning and provided necessary instructions.


First, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected the damage to the Pyithu Hluttaw Building, the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Building, the No. (1) Gate Entrance Bridge and Arch, and Amyotha Hluttaw Building.
Following the inspection, Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U T Khun Myat and relevant officials gave a brief report.
In response to the report, the Senior General emphasized the importance of systematically repairing and reconstructing the damaged parliament buildings. He highlighted the need for a structured, step-bystep approach to reforms, ensuring long-term sustainability and structural integrity. Additionally he instructed that the extent of the damage and the progress of reconstruction be thoroughly documented, along with the implementation of other necessary measures.
