Leaders and Heads of four countries sent messages of condolence to State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing expressing deep condolences over the loss of lives, damagesand injuries after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake hit central Myanmar on 28 March.
President of the People’s Republic of China Mr. Xi Jinping, Chinese Premier Mr. Li Qiang, King of Cambodia Preah Bat Samdech Preach Norodom Sihamoni, Speaker of Cambodia Senate Hluttaw Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet, Salton of Brunie Hassanal Bolkiah Muiz’zaddin Wad’daulah, President Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice-President Rosario Murillo of Nicaragua sent messages of condolence to State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
The messages said they were shocked and saddened to learn of the strong earthquake in Myanmar, which caused heavy casualties and property losses.
They mourned the deaths and extended sincere condolences to the bereaved families, the injured and the people affected by the quake.
They are also ready to provide assistance to Myanmar and support Myanmar people to overcome the disasters and rebuild as quickly as possible.
They also believe that the Myanmar people in the quake zone can overcome the disasters and establish a fine social community as quickly as possible under the firm leadership of the Myanmar government.
Those who participate in recuse works should be appreciated, and may all the deceased rest in peace and those injured recover quickly. They also stand with Myanmar people during such a period.
