SAC Chairman of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing inspected ways to carry out rescue, relief and rehabilitation undertakings for earthquake victims in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area this afternoon and pointed out the essential means for work facilitation.
First, the Senior General and party inspected the work of repairing earthquake-hit roads and bridges in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area for temporary use in a motorcade.

They arrived at the Paunglaung People’s Sports Stadium in Pyinmana Township and inquired about accommodation, water and electricity supply, toilet availability.
The Senior General told officials to open a temporary hospital and clinic in the stadium for treating earthquake victims in the township, station mobile hospitals and clinics, provide temporary tents and mobile toilets, and set up accommodations for the victims of other damaged civil servant housings at the nearest sports grounds and fulfilled the requirements of other areas.
Then, the Senior General and party went to Nay Pyi Taw Sports Ground of Sports and Physical Education Department, the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Shwekyabin Ward, in Union Territory, and asked for information about accommodation, water and power supply, and toilet availability. Afterwards, they visited patients individually at the temporary hospital run by the Ministry of Health at an indoor stadium and warmly asked after their injuries caused by the earthquake shocks and health improvement and gave words of encouragement.
During the inspection tour, the Senior General urged officials to ensure water and electricity and proper administration functions for the convenience of patients and their families, send military mobile operation theatres and medics, arrange bases for foreign medical teams and to jointly provide medical treatment with them.
